If you’ve read my journal posts regularly, you may recognize Cally. She’s my cousin and often my muse, and I am thrilled to have photographed her home maternity session alongside her partner, Brevin.

We took these images at her apartment in North Loop, Minneapolis. Both indoors, by her beautiful street-facing windows, and outdoors on her apartment’s roof. I love home maternity sessions for their intimacy. What you may not see in this selection of images are the boxes stacked high in corners. These were taken just days before the trio moved to their new home in a quiet Mpls neighborhood.

Update: Their baby boy, Marze, is a joy. So happy for their little family
